Raised in Australia, now residing in London, Charlie began making jewellery in 2013.

She worked as a bench jeweller for 7 years before going out on her own in 2022, when Charlie Shires jewellery as you know it was born.

Highly sentimental, she draws inspiration from death and love and the people nearest and dearest to her heart, she creates feminine, wearable pieces with an underlay of morbidity. 

Everything piece of jewellery is handmade within the walls of Charlie's north London workshop.
